TV series -- 2021 -- Netflix
Ada Twist is a curious kid with a backyard lab. Rosie Revere builds. Iggy Peck draws plans. In this first Netflix pairing, her brother Arthur's fort will not open, then birds go off at an empty feeder and Mum looks at Mooshu the cat. Science songs, a Rube Goldberg machine, no villains.

Arthur will only open the fort if nobody touches it. Ada Twist, a kid scientist, plus Rosie the builder and Iggy the planner, make a chain-reaction machine to flip the latch from the path. Then birds swarm a dry feeder and Mum eyes Mooshu, the family cat. Songs about brainstorms. Bright. The stuck-inside beat and 'will the cat get sent away' are the stings, not a monster.
Arthur is inside a locked fort and will not come to the door. Birds look angry around an empty bowl. Mum suspects Mooshu; Ada worries the cat will be sent away. Heat evaporated the water. Mum was never going to dump him. Songs add volume.
4-6. A gentle science show. Sit nearby if locked doors or a blamed pet land big, and turn songs down if sound is hard.
7-9. Usually easy. They may still clock the cat scare as the real plot.
10-12. Fine as a younger-sibling watch. Nothing here is meant to linger at bedtime.
Counts are how often that theme shows up in the notes -- not when it happens.
You do not have to sit glued to the couch. Stay nearby on a first watch, especially if waiting, noise, or small disappointments land big in your house. The notes above say what happens. You know your child. This is not medical advice.
